A line of thunderstorms will race northeastward across eastern ontario late this afternoon and early this evening.

Some of the thunderstorms may produce wind gusts to 80 km/h, pea to marble sized hail and frequent lightning.

Heavy downpours suddenly reducing visibility to less than 1 km are also possible. Motorists should exercise caution. Strong gusty winds and heavy downpours will result in difficult driving conditions.

The thunderstorms are expected to weaken as they move northeast out of the region early this evening.

*Apr.04 – Fire in Consecon at Bayview Park

April 04, 2017

A park trailer burned up just south of Consecon in Prince Edward County early this evening(Tuesday).

Firefighters were called out in rainy weather just before 7 o’clock to the Bayview Park on the Stinson Block Road.

The smoky fire was under control in half an hour.  No one was injured.

The cause of the fire is under investigation and is considered suspicious. Read more at
