Yang style Tai Chi Classes…

Tai Chi appeals to people of all ages because it’s not intimidating. Tai Chi uses the whole body and the movements are gentle, quiet and flow in a circular pattern. Tai Chi’s slow synchronized movements are easy to learn and to perform. Cost is only $3.00 for each one hour class and Tai Chi can be practiced almost anywhere at any time with no special equipment or clothing required. There is no need to register, just show up and enjoy says instructor Gerry Putman of the Yang Ming Shish Tai Chi Group.

Swanee, Consecon’s mascot is no more…

SwaneeIt is with great sadness that I report on the demise of our beloved Swanee mascot. Many residents remarked on the  absence of Swanee, but reliable sources say that our swan’s body was found near Cascades. It appeared to be the victim of some wild animal attack.  Swanee will be terribly missed by all in the Village of Consecon.

K2’s Restaurant torn down…

The unsightly building that used to house K2’s Restaurant has been torn down. We have no idea what will be built in its place, but a nice building with retail below a couple of apartments would generate some commercial development in Consecon. Stay tuned for more information.
